Online help is distributed with ParaView 3. To access, go to Help -> Help (shortcut F1). Online documentation for the nightly Paraview build can be found on the ParaView Wiki. For the ParaView User's Guide corresponding to the 3.10 release, click here.

The ParaView Guide

The online help is a reference the user interface elements and algorithms available in ParaView. If you need more in-depth documentation, consider buying the ParaView Guide published by Kitware, Inc. The current edition covers ParaView v3.

Doxygen Generated Documentation

Doxygen generated Documentation for the current CVS repository. These extensive Web pages are generated nightly and contain extensive descriptions regarding inheritance, methods, object collaboration, and so on.

Training Courses

Kitware offers ParaView courses for both users and developers. We provide customized courses at a customer site or at Kitware in the Spring and Fall. Check here for updated course announcements.

Support and Consulting

Kitware offers professional support for ParaView through our ParaViewPro support subscription. You can customize the support for your institution based on the number of end users and computational clusters that require support.

Additional information can be found on the ParaView Wiki and the ParaView FAQ. Please note that some of the information on the pages is outdated. We are working on updating the Wiki. If you are a regular user and would like to contribute to the Wiki, please let us know by sending a message to the mailing list.

Mailing list

The ParaView mailing list is the principal means of communications among users and developers. Please go here to subscribe to the list. Instructions are given to receive an archive version of the list, as well as to manage and unsubscribe from the list. The mailing list archives can be searched using the search tool provided above. You may want to search for a previously posted answer to your question before posting to the mailing list.
