Summary | 0007072: Save animation on Mac produces black images
Description | When writing out an animation on a Mac, you get black images. Load in can.ex2 and then write out an animation to a series of .png files. All the files contain only black pixels. If you uncheck the "Use Offscreen Rendering for Screenshots" option, the animation writes out correctly again.

The offscreen rendering option is to prevent capturing images data from overlapping windows. I don't think Mac has this problem, so is there any reason to be using an offscreen buffer in the first place? |

I agree. We should turn this option off on Macs. What about intel cards? It sounds like this doesn't work with intel cards on Linux. |

Does anyone have a Linux box with an Intel graphics card in it to play with? Is there any way to test for this? |

Do the comments below mean that we are going to change the Mac offscreen rendering? And if so, have we done it? I have no idea how to check Intel graphics, but would be willing to close the bug as a Mac only bug. alan |

This bug is fixed. Please create a new one about intel graphics cards if necessary. |
