[Paraview] Volume rendering problem in Server/Client mode

Also, volume rendering has been greatly improved in the ParaView trunk which will be released as ParaView 3.6 RSN (Real Soon Now).  ParaView 3.4.0 had some pretty bad volume rendering issues.

Make sure that you are doing remote rendering. Go to Edit|Settings. The on the Render View | Server sub option, ensure that "Remote Render Threshold" is checked and move the slide to the left i.e. 0.

I have Paraview installed on a linux cluster, but the volume rendering does not seem to work with Server/Client mode. It leaves an "Outline" box on the screen with nothing else. Other functions work fine and volume rendering works fine on a single-processor. Any guesses as to why. Thanks.
