[Paraview] Paraview3 installation problem : unable to start Paraview

I cannot replicate your system exactly, but my Linux build is working
just fine. Perhaps there is a problem with how your build is set up.
Here are a few obvious things to check:

Are you compiling against Qt 4.2.3?

If you run ldd paraview, does it report the same shared libraries you
linked against during build?

Can you compile debug (CMake variable CMAKE_BUILD_TYPE set to Debug)?
I'm not seeing much useful information in the stack trace.

Subject: [Paraview] Paraview3 installation problem : unable to start
Paraview

I have checked out the fresh copy of sources today from cvs and tried
to build Paraview3, there was absolutely no error during the
installation but when I try to launch the paraview executable.
raashid at bean:~/Desktop/ParaView3-unix/bin$ ./paraview Floating
point exception (core dumped)

The hardware configuration of the computer is Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4,
2GB DDR2 RAM and NVidia 7600 graphics card. The system runs on
Ubuntu 7.04.

I had the same problem with compiling ParaView3 before and got a reply
that it was due to a bug and will be fixed in future. Can somebody
please tell me when is this bug going to be fixed ?
