[Paraview] Updating Bounds Correctly in Pipeline for Timebase data

I have a time based data set that I have written a reader for.  
Depending on the time step, the bounds can change. These changes are  
not reflected if I select the "Information" tab (ParaView 2.6.1) and  
look at the "Bounds" widget. Is there something in the pipeline that  
I need to update to set those values? Does that go in the  
RequestInformation or RequestData method of my Reader class?
