RES: [Paraview] computing and plotting vorticity

It's a very good and old question and, thanks God, someone has already
thought about a solution ;o) 

Take a look in this topic posted in PV wiki

I guess, the newer versions of PV already have such filter implemented.

My vtk file contains the velocity components. How does one compute the
vorticity and plot vorticity contours? If I compute streamlines, the
vorticity is automatically computed along the streamlines but not at all the
vertices.
