This might be a good time for us users to make suggestions for the next
edition of "The ParaView Guide". Kitware must of course make any final
decisions based on business considerations.

---

1) Binding

Go to wire so it lays flat and pages don't fall out. I almost have to take
my copy around in a bag.

2) Split into Two Books

One for users, one for developers. This would reduce the cost for users not
interested in development.

3) Online Examples

Some publishers have a web site for each of their books containing example
code and corrections. There are already many examples of ParaView code (in
C++, XML and so on) at various locations. Adding more, as appropriate,
putting it all in one place, and referencing it from the book might be
helpful.

4) Online Comments

"Shadow" the book at the ParaView site with an area for each numbered
section of the book. Each area would contain user-supplied comments and
suggestions. The Wiki might be a way to implement this.

5) Cost Tradeoff Questions

In some cases Kitware may ask (or setup a vote process) to get user
opinions on some questions. Ex: Would you pay $4 more for wire binding?

---

If anybody else cares about these issues, and there are a ton of other
ideas, it would help if someone began to collect the ideas into a list
(maybe with a way for a viewer to "vote").
