[Paraview] which VTK

So the conclusions would be to use Paraview's VTK for more recent if 
somewhat less stable version?

I see the problem in maintaining two versions. And I dont think I am 
going to change CMakeLists.txt to use an older external VTK version. But 
is it at least easilly possible to link paraview dynamically against the 
VTK? I get huge binary output files...
