VTK/ParaView Charts

Finished domain fixes from last week. Started on zooming and panning, but clipping is still a bit broken. That should be finished by the end of the day.

Selection the last thing on the list for this week. May or may not be finished this week.

GUI Plugins

After charts.

Some edits to OverView Plugins

Deliverables

Multiblock (Utkarsh, Berk, ETI)

Can now select multiblock datasets. Changing selection panel. Multiblock selections work find in spreadsheet view.

Dave T. working on last bugs for multiblock in Exodus reader.

Need a feature request for a working Exodus writer.

SILO Reader (Pat)

Nothing new. Committed in ParaView repository. You have to turn in on with CMake varaiables a point to the SILO library.

Selection (Berk, Utkarsh)

Multiblock selections starting to work. Need some cleanup on the Wiki.

ParaView/Titan Chart Merger (Jeff, Utkarsh, Philippe, ETI)

See above.

Volume Rendering Algorithm Chooser (Pat)

No progress.

Plot multiple points/cells over time (Berk)

After multiblock and selection work.

Textures (Utkarsh)

Done unless there is time to implement assigning any array to texture coordinates.

2D Image View type (Utkarsh)

Slice representation works except for data server / render server. Still need to create view.

Box and Sphere Widgets (Will)

Will said he is working on it. Should be working before the release.

Nothing new to report.

Custom filter cleanup (Utkarsh)

Done unless we have time left over.

MARS Issues

There is an attempt to threshold a piece of CTH and then write that out in some format that can be read into CUBIT. Exodus would be nice.

V&V Milestone

Charles is almost done with his work. By next week it should at least work on the 6-node cluster at Kitware and it will be ready for Sandia to ramp up to larger data and clusters.

Analyst's Toolbox

Tom Otahal has been working on a simplified Python interface for using ParaView's facilities. It is more tuned to the kinds of things an analyst does. Tom has something working that he will start giving to folks here at Sandia.

SQE Appraisal

Overall, we did pretty well. One of the biggest complaint was the backups, but after querying Kitware, it looks like the backups are being done much better than we thought. We (Sandia) have asked Kitware for documentation of their backup process.
