Summary | 0009142: Spreadsheet view changes attribute from Cell Data to Point Data.
Description | * ParaView 3.6.0, 8 servers, Linux. * Open g1s1-10fps.e.10.*. All variables, Apply. * Integrate Variables. Notice that it brings up Point Data, but we want Cell Data (where the volume is). * Select Attribute Cell Data. Highlight the row by clicking on it. * Filter/ Data Analysis/ Plot Selection over Time. (Don't do anything else) <<bug>> Notice on the spreadsheet view that Attribute has changed back to Point Data. But, we want to plot cells! This is a bug. <<Hacky fix>> Select Attribute Cell Data once again. NOW, hit the Apply button.

I just want to note that although the spreadsheet is changing to point data, the selection that is automatically given to the plot over time filter is the cell selection that you wanted. Thus if you leave the spreadsheet as it is, you will still be plotting cells (you don't have to switch back to cell view in the spreadsheet). This is still a bug. Having the spreadsheet suddenly change to point view is both annoying and confusing. But at least the plot filter will still do what you intended if you are not paying attention. |

This issues seems to have been fixed now. The spreadhsheet no longer swicthes attribute type when the PlotSelectionOverTime filter is created. |

Closing bugs sitting in "customer review" for a long time. |
