Summary0008878: Allow editing of volume maper before volume rendering
DescriptionA user has requested the ability to adjust volume mapping settings before you are volume rendering. Once you are volume rendering, changing volume mapping settings can be SSLLOOWW.

Maybe add and always have available the volume rendering version of the color scale editor from the Display Tab?

Another request would be to add an apply button to the color scale editor, so that all changes don't happen as you change things. if you need to add 3 new buttons (volume rendering), tweak them, find them if they are against a black background, this can be very painful if you are using a model of a few tens of million cells. It is also very unclear how to get things to "take" in the editor (you select another entry dialog with the mouse).

 Color Map editor now allows editing of opacity function irrespective of whether we are in "volume rendering" mode or not.
