This bug/feature request is only partially fixed. What I want is the ability to – with one keypress (or just the movement of the mouse) show probe data in the spreadsheet view. To show the issue, do the following:

* Local server, Linux, master.
* Open can.exo. All vars on. Apply.
* Probe Location filter. Apply.
*(Minor pain - now, you have to click back in the 3d window, but not on your dataset. Otherwise, you then have to click on the probe filter again.)
* Now, on the can, hit the 'p' key. Notice that the probe location changes, but it doesn't get applied. You have to move the mouse to hit apply!

Alan, if I remember correctly, we agreed to not confuse probe with pick or "interactive selection" and leave probe as a filter for those you really want to use "Probe". The only thing we were going to do was to show the output by default in the spreadsheet view. Since Probe remains just as any other filter, it follows the same "Apply" rules as any other filter.

Utkarsh, I agree. If the user really wants auto apply, they can turn on auto apply, and it then works. Lets consider this bug fixed if output shows in the Spreadsheet view, which it does.

Tested local server, master, Linux.
