Summary0014410: PYTHONPATH environment variable not imported correctly
DescriptionFor using the pythoncalculator, numpy must be in correctly installed and searchable. This can be done by setting the PYTHONPATH environment variable to the location of numpy. However, with the linux version the PYTHONPATH variable is not read correctly when double colomn : is used as path separator (which is standard in Linux). If the semicolumn ; is used in stead, the pythonpath environment variable is read correctly and numpy can be found. The semi-column is not default for linux system and must be changed explicitely before paraview is started.

I just found that the system numpy conflicts with the numb which comes with the paraview distributioni the directory /opt/paraview/ParaView-4.1.0-RC1-Linux-64bit/lib/paraview-4.1/lib/python2.7/site-packages/

If I change my path separator of the PYTHONPATH variable into ;, the path is made invalid and therefore the system numpy is not in the search path anymore and the correct numpy version coming with paraview is used.

For using pythoncalculator, one has to make sure that the numpy on the system in -not- in the pythonsearch path
