| Summary | 0013374: Multiple Modes for SLAC Reader | ||||||||
| Description | Currently, the SLAC reader can either read a single mode or a single time series as field data. An additional functionality needed is the ability to read multiple modes at the same time. A mode is a periodically changing field at a certain frequency. The amplitude and phase of the field is determined by real and imaginary components of the field. When multiple modes are loaded, the intention is to add all the modes together. In addition, the SLAC folks want to be able to adjust the amplitude of each mode independently with a multiplier for each and to be able to adjust the phase of each mode with a phase offset. Attached is a slide with a mathematical description of the desired functionality. | ||||||||
