Summary0012115: FixedPointRayCaster gives different results depending on number of threads
DescriptionThe dashboard test TestFixedPointRayCasterLinearCropped.tcl fails when run on machines with a large number of CPUs. The problem can be simulated on any machine by pumping up the number of threads.
Steps To ReproduceAdd the following lines to the beginning of TestFixedPointRayCasterLinearCropped.tcl

vtkMultiThreader multithread
multithread SetGlobalDefaultNumberOfThreads 64

Then run the test via ctest. It will produce an incorrect image.

 Apparently attempts have been made to fix this bug, but none of the developers are interested in pursuing it any further.
