Making the solid colors "sticky" (default to the last one set) would be OK, but I think a better solution would be to have entries in the ParaView setting instead. That would prevent the current behavior from changing and prevent current regression tests from breaking.

In either case, the default color selection should be persistent between executions of ParaView. That is, the color selection should be saved in the ParaView settings file.

Edge color are foreground color (default solid color) can now be changed through "Application Settings" dialog.
