Summary0008268: Custom parameters for Programmable Filter
DescriptionIt is not uncommon in the "Programmable Filter" to have one or more parameters, defined as Python variables, to be specified by the user. The "Programmable Filter" can then be grouped in a "Custom Filter".

It would be nice to have another window to let the user define these parameters. One would expose this window from the "Custom Filter", so that the actual script is not shown, and therefore users do not have to understand it (and also cannot modify it).

Yes! We have prototype implementation for this. Expect the feature in the next release (after 3.12).
