0006768: Select any array as texture coordinates
Right now, you can only use an array for texture coordinates if it is assigned as the active texture coordinates in the data structure. Furthermore, there is no direct way to set the active texture coordinates.

A better approach (I think) is to be able to select any array to use as the texture coordinates.

This is not a user request (yet); it's just one of those pie-in-the-sky I-think-we-should-have-that requests. I don't know for sure if we will need this, but I'm quite sure that the current method of getting texture coordinates will not be sufficient for anyone serious about texture mapping. I figure this method should be fairly easy to implement and powerful enough to handle future use cases.
