Summary0013792: Should be able create slice in slice view with one click
DescriptionI recommend a small change in the slice view that allows a user to create a new slice with a single click by the axis. Currently, you can create a slice by double-clicking in the right area of the axis, and my request is to make that creation happen with a single click. (Deletions should stay as double clicks.)

The reason for this request is to make the view usage more discoverable. When I first brought up the Slice View knowing nothing about it, I thought it was broken. It just showed me an outline like that in the 3D view, but no slices even though the representation said slice. I tried clicking in many different places, but nothing happened. I seriously thought this was a broken new feature. It wasn't until I saw an instructive image that I figured this out, but under normal usages I would have given up.

After thinking about it, bug 0013872 is probably a more important feature with regard to self-discovery. In fact, once 0013872 is implemented, this feature becomes less important.
