DescriptionDesktop file included in paraview is missing:

Exec=paraview

and the Version key should be:

Version=1.0

i.e. the version of the desktop spec in use, not the version of the program.

Looks like paraview now provides one. However, it uses Version incorrectly. Version refers to the version of the desktop file spec (http://standards.freedesktop.org/desktop-entry-spec/latest/ar01s05.html [^]) not the version of the package. Attached patch fixes.

And much more seriously, the provided .desktop file is missing the Exec=paraview line.
