0011453: Exodus reader not reading individual files from multifile dataset correctly
ParaView trunk, Windows, local server

File/ Open. Go to zpinch_1 directory. You will see that you can open the file set. But, we only want to open one file (for instance zpingh_1.8.2). It can't be done. This is a bug.

You are supposed to be able to load a single file by modifying the file pattern. That no longer seems to be working. This probably broke when the Exodus reader was wrapped in the file series reader.

This seems like an awfully low priority to me. 99.99% of the time you want the Exodus reader to group partitioned files. We also have very solid use cases for detecting groups of restarts (including restarts of partitioned files). Fixing this issue may interfere with this more important use cases.
