I think it's been fixed because of all the recent work on the XDMF libraries. </div><div><br></div><div>It used to be that the vtkXdmfReader defaulted to the first data frame (time step) if it was ever asked for a time step which didn't really exist. (This is in contrast to something like the PVD reader which would default to the previous valid time step.)
